We work on an annual cycle of creating a new performance from scratch. Generating ideas entirely from our group, we spend about 3 months devising around concepts and ideas before landing on a solid theme for our new play. We never work from a script and encourage creative input from our whole group.
Coast is Side by Side's very first devised play with a linear storyline. Taking place across one day we join a remote coastal village as their regular life is disrupted by a shipwreck just off the shore.
